The Reserve Bank of India reported that the country's foreign exchange reserves fell by $1.269 billion in the week ending October 30, marking the second consecutive weekly decline. The total reserves now stand at $719.748 billion, down from a record high of $785.706 billion in early September. Experts attribute the drop to the use of FCNR(B) resources and RBI's dollar sales to stabilize the rupee.
