India's First Bullet Train Hits Milestone in Vadodara on Delhi-Mumbai Route

In Vadodara, Gujarat, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project achieved a key milestone by installing all 14 portal beams over the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani track. This 8.3 km section crosses five railway lines. Engineers used cast-in-situ methods due to space constraints. With beams in place, 40-meter composite girders are now being laid, advancing the elevated viaduct construction for India's first bullet train corridor.

Delhi University Plans Rs 8,000 Crore Hostels for 30,000+ Students

Delhi University is planning an Rs 8,000-crore project to build new hostels and redevelop existing ones to accommodate over 30,000 students.
