India's manufacturing sector growth slowed in October as domestic demand weakened and factory hiring decelerated. The HSBC India Manufacturing PMI dropped to 54.7 from 55.1 in September, still indicating expansion but at a slower pace. New domestic orders declined slightly, while export orders rose to a six-month high, partially offsetting the slowdown. Factory output and employment growth also lost momentum.
