India's Direct Tax Collections Rise 13.21% to Rs 13.38 Lakh Crore by Oct 14

India's net direct tax collections for FY2026-27 reached Rs 13,37,866.98 crore as of October 14, marking a 13.21% increase. Gross collections rose to Rs 16,03,066.12 crore, with refunds up 24.22% year-on-year. Net corporate tax receipts were Rs 5,99,062.48 crore, showing strong growth. Non-corporate tax collections and refunds also increased significantly, indicating robust direct tax revenue growth.
