The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and New Zealand will come into force on October 20, aiming to double bilateral trade to NZD 7 billion by 2030 by removing tariffs on most goods. New Zealand will eliminate tariffs on all Indian imports, while India will cut tariffs on 95% of New Zealand imports, making products like apples, kiwi fruit, and wine cheaper. New Zealand also plans $20 billion investment in India over 15 years, boosting manufacturing, infrastructure, and innovation.
