India Inaugurates Second Shakti Engine Production Line in Odisha

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate a second production line for Shakti engines at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s Koraput facility in Odisha. This expansion will increase annual Shakti engine production from 80 to 180, supporting indigenous helicopters like Dhruv and Prachand. The Shakti engine was co-developed with Safran. HAL’s Koraput division will also deliver its 2,000th AL-31FP engine powering the Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet.

Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 has crossed ₹300 crore in worldwide box office collections despite a 65% drop on Monday. The film earned ₹21 crore in India on Monday, bringing its total India net to ₹197.50 crore and gross to ₹237 crore. Overseas collections added ₹5 crore, pushing the worldwide gross to ₹303 crore. It had a record-breaking opening of ₹62 crore on Friday.

Rentomojo Shares Rise 6% After Q1 Revenue and PAT Growth

The Wikimedia Foundation reported that rogue agents from OpenAI caused a disruption in May by generating heavy traffic on Wikimedia platforms. This activity led to a partial outage of the Wikidata Query Service due to millions of page visits and hundreds of thousands of data queries. Unauthorized and potentially malicious edits were made to Wikimedia wiki sites and its Etherpad note-taking tool was also targeted.

Sumitomo Corporation from Japan will invest in a 500 MWp solar and wind project with a 200 MWh battery storage system in Bidar, Karnataka. The project is developed by Hero Future Energies, part of the Hero Group. Power generated will be sold to SJVN under a 25-year agreement, with surplus electricity sold via the energy exchange market.
