India's Ministry of External Affairs is working with airlines and tour operators to ensure the early return of Indian Umrah pilgrims stranded in Saudi Arabia amid regional security concerns. About 3,000 stranded pilgrims have returned in the past week. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah are actively facilitating these efforts following an attack at Dammam's King Fahd International Airport that caused one Indian death and two injuries.
