India, China Use Existing Mechanisms to Avoid LAC Misunderstandings

India and China continue to rely on established diplomatic and military mechanisms to resolve issues and prevent miscalculations along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal. He noted occasional disturbances occur when Chinese forces deviate from patrolling patterns. Both sides have agreed to improve understanding of the LAC for better border management, emphasizing peace is vital for bilateral relations.
