WorldIndia-backed project clears 198,000 sq m of mine-contaminated land in Cambodia
Nearly 198,000 square metres of mine-contaminated land in Cambodia's Koh Kong province has been cleared and handed over to around 134 local families under an India-backed project. The land in Kaoh Pao village was cleared through India's Quick Impact Project under the Mekong-Ganga Cooperation framework, which promotes regional cooperation among India and five Southeast Asian countries. The ceremony included Indian and Cambodian officials.
