IMD Forecasts Very Severe Cyclone to Hit Andhra Pradesh on Oct 28

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert stating that a depression in the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into a Deep Depression today. It will then gradually move west-northwestwards over the Eastcentral and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal by the morning of October 26. A very severe cyclone is forecast to make landfall in Andhra Pradesh on October 28.
