ScienceIMD Forecasts October Weather After Monsoon Withdrawal
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted the weather for October following the withdrawal of the monsoon. While some regions may experience heavy rainfall and snowfall, others are expected to remain dry. The IMD has issued warnings for heavy rain in 14 states within 7 hours and wind speeds up to 60 km/h. Rainfall is expected in 18 states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan, with alerts in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Despite a weak monsoon season, normal winter rains are anticipated across India.
