IMD Forecasts Cyclone Over Bay of Bengal, Heavy Rain in Tamil Nadu

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a possible cyclone developing over the Bay of Bengal, expected to strengthen into a cyclonic storm by October 26. The system will move towards the Andhra Pradesh coast by October 28. Tamil Nadu is likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in districts including Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, and Thanjavur in the coming days.
