IIT Bombay has reiterated its anti-discrimination rules, instructing students not to ask classmates about their caste, admission category, or entrance exam ranks such as JEE Advanced or GATE scores. The guidelines were issued by the Dean of Student Affairs following scrutiny after a student's death linked to caste abuse.
