IIM Bangalore and Axis Bank to Launch Economics Centre at Jigani Campus

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) and Axis Bank have signed an MoU to establish the Axis Bank Centre of Economics at IIMB's Dorabji Tata School of Undergraduate Studies in Jigani. Axis Bank will fund the centre's construction, operations, faculty development, research, and scholarships. The centre will offer a curriculum integrating economics with quantitative and computational learning. The school admitted 80 students for its BSc (Hons) programmes in Data Sciences and Economics in August 2026.
