IIIT Lucknow Closed Till Sunday Due to Gomti Flooding, Exams Postponed

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Lucknow campus is closed until Sunday due to flooding caused by the swollen Gomti river. Exams scheduled at the institute have been postponed until further notice. About 800 hostellers were relocated, with 300 returning home and 500 moved to a second hostel. Electricity has been cut off for safety. The situation will be reassessed before reopening.
