Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) reported a 93.5% decline in standalone net profit to ₹24.38 crore in Q2 of 2026-27, down from ₹372.51 crore the previous year. Despite an 8% rise in sales volumes and a 26% increase in turnover to ₹5,999.13 crore, higher input gas costs severely impacted margins. Daily gas sales surpassed 10 million standard cubic metres for the first time, with CNG and PNG sales growing 9% and 8% respectively.
