IGL Profit Drops 93% in Q2 FY27 Due to West Asia Supply Issues
IGL reported a 93.4% decline in profit for Q2 FY27, with net profit falling to Rs 24.4 crore from Rs 372.5 crore in the same period last year. This drop is attributed to higher input gas costs amid global supply disruptions linked to West Asia. Despite this, sales volume rose 8% and sales turnover increased 26%, with daily sales growing from 9.3 to 10.1 mmscmd.
