The Maharashtra government appointed senior IAS officer Tukaram Mundhe as secretary of a five-member committee investigating alleged paper leaks and irregularities in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The panel, headed by former Bombay High Court Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale, was formed after an 11-day protest by government job aspirants in Pune demanding action and removal of MPSC Chairman Vivek Bhimanwar, who has now gone on leave.
