The victim, Karan P, was contacted by a fraudster posing as a GM Fincorp representative who falsely claimed to improve his low CIBIL score. Between December 2025 and July 2026, Karan transferred the money as processing fees and other charges. Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation.
