Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh highlighted the negative impact of delays in inducting new fighter jets. He emphasized the need to produce and induct 36 to 40 aircraft annually to maintain at least 30 combat squadrons and eventually reach 42. Singh stressed the importance of timely induction of LCA Mk-1A, MRFA, and additional Sukhoi-30MKIs, along with deploying fifth-generation aircraft for enhanced combat strength.
