Hyundai India Q2 Net Profit Falls 24% to ₹1,196 Crore on High Commodity Costs
Hyundai Motor India Ltd reported a 24% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹1,196 crore for Q2 ending September 30, 2026, down from ₹1,572 crore the previous year. Despite this, revenue rose 19% to ₹20,696 crore. Elevated commodity prices impacted profitability, but operating leverage and cost reductions improved EBITDA margin. CEO Tarun Garg called it a milestone quarter with record sales and revenue.
