Hot-and-Cold ACs Under Rs. 40,000 Compared for Indian Winters

Hot-and-cold ACs use a single split unit to cool in summer and heat in winter by reversing refrigerant flow. In cities with real winters like Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Jaipur, these ACs can replace room heaters. They use less electricity than resistance heaters and do not dry air as much. Four inverter split models under Rs. 40,000, including Godrej's 1.5 Ton 3 Star model, are currently available with varying heating ranges and efficiency.
