WorldHindu Group Denies Asking Eiffel Tower to Remove Women Employees
A Hindu religious group, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, stated that investigations confirmed it did not request the removal or exclusion of female employees during its delegation's visit to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The claim arose after a staff strike protesting alleged exclusion of women during the visit of about 100 BAPS members, which caused a day-long closure of the monument. BAPS expressed concern for affected employees and hopes for better understanding.
