Nearly half of the road works worth Rs 2,233 crore under two government schemes in Bengaluru remain incomplete. The five city corporations face delays due to rising bitumen prices and prolonged rains. Initially set for completion by April-May 2026, the Greater Bengaluru Authority has now set December 15 as the new deadline. Projects cover 5,162 roads spanning 1,420 km under CMIDP and CSSIP schemes.
