Manipur Armed Clash Kills 36-Year-Old, Injures Four

A 36-year-old man was killed and four others injured in a gunfight between Kuki and Naga armed groups in Chassad village, Kamjong district, Manipur. The violence began around 2:30 pm and continued into the evening. Injured villagers were rescued by Assam Rifles and hospitalized. Locals blame NSCN-IM and Tangkhul militants from Myanmar.
