The Gujarat government has launched a major redevelopment project to transform Bet Dwarka island into a world-class spiritual and eco-tourism hub. Modeled after Kashi Vishwanath and Ujjain Mahakal corridors, the plan includes modernizing facilities for millions of pilgrims. Over one hectare of land across 31 survey numbers will be acquired, with the Deputy Collector overseeing land clearance. This follows the opening of Sudarshan Setu, India's longest cable-stayed bridge, connecting Okha to Bet Dwarka.
