GST Council Meeting Rescheduled to October 8

The 57th GST Council meeting originally scheduled for October 7 has been postponed to October 8 due to unavoidable circumstances, according to an official memorandum from the GST Council Secretariat. This is the second rescheduling; the meeting was initially planned for September 12. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated the agenda includes procedural reforms, registration, returns, refunds, legal dispute resolution, and seamless input tax credit flow.
