The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) plans to restart online khata bifurcation services on October 17, ending a two-year freeze. The service will cover properties up to 2,000 square metres, pending state government notification. Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda is expected to launch the facility, which aims to assist property owners in developing or subdividing plots after regulatory restrictions slowed approvals.
