Government to Launch National Electricity Data Sharing Framework in October

The Indian government will launch the National Electricity Data Sharing Framework in October to enable structured and secure data sharing in the power sector, said Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary of the Union Power Ministry. A national data governance committee, chaired by the Central Electricity Authority Chairperson and including government and industry members, will oversee coordinated implementation. The draft framework was released for consultation in June.
