Government to Celebrate Madhwacharya's Birth Anniversary Annually

The Karnataka government has decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of Madhwacharya every year on October 21. Former Shivamogga MLA K.B. Prasanna Kumar thanked the government on behalf of the Brahmin community and Madhwa philosophy followers. He urged the government to also celebrate Ramanujacharya's birth anniversary similarly. The decision aims to spread Madhwacharya's message among the youth. Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board director P.M. Malatesha also expressed gratitude, especially to CM D.K. Shivakumar.
