Government Reports Progress in Education, Youth, and Sports in Mid-Year Budget Review

The Government reported progress in education, youth development, and sports during the first half of the 2026/27 financial year. Achievements include subsidised tertiary education for about 87,000 qualifying students, recruitment of 3,634 teachers and staff, construction of 130 classrooms, and disbursement of N$110.2 million to youth-owned enterprises. These were highlighted in the Mid-Year Budget Review presented by Finance Minister Ericah Shafudah on 22 October.
