Government Raises EPF Wage Limit to Rs 25,000, EPS Enrollment Rules Updated
The government has increased the wage limit for Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 per month. Employees earning below Rs 25,000 must now join both EPF and Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS). Current EPS members earning above this limit will retain their status, but new employees above Rs 25,000 are not required to enroll. This change aims to improve social security for workers and their families.
