The government may call an extended or special parliamentary session to pass the Women's Reservation Bill related to delimitation. A top official said such a session can be convened with two days' notice since the monsoon session was not formally adjourned. The bill was not passed in the April budget session due to insufficient support in the Lok Sabha. The government may avoid delaying the bill until the winter session.
