Google Signs 3.6-GW Power Deal with Constellation Energy
Google has signed a 20-year agreement to purchase 3,590 megawatts of power from Constellation Energy, including about 890 megawatts from upgraded nuclear plants. This deal, the largest in the US power grid, will support over $4.3 billion in new investments and involves capacity additions at nuclear reactors in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic. Electricity delivery starts in 2028.
