Gold and Silver Prices Fall Sharply on Dhanteras

On Dhanteras, gold and silver prices saw a significant drop in the multi-commodity market. MCX gold futures fell by ₹2,428 per 10 grams to ₹1,41,667. Silver futures dropped ₹3,100 to ₹1,84,050 per kilogram. Internationally, gold fell 1.46% to $4,053.8 per ounce and silver 1.70% to $51.485 per ounce. Rising crude oil prices and a stronger dollar index caused this decline. In Delhi, gold and silver prices showed slight increases.
