Gold and Silver Prices Drop Sharply in October Ahead of Dhanteras

Gold and silver prices fell significantly in October, providing relief to buyers and investors. Gold futures dropped from around Rs 1,46,200 per 10 grams on October 1 to Rs 1,38,419 on November 1, a decline of about Rs 7,800 or 5.3%. Silver futures fell from Rs 2,23,740 per kg to Rs 1,78,900, a 20% drop. These are MCX futures prices, excluding retail charges and taxes.
