Global Bond Issuance to Grow Slowest in Five Years in 2027
Global bond issuance is projected to increase by only 2.7% in 2027, the slowest growth in five years, according to S P Global Ratings. The slowdown is attributed to rising interest rates and geopolitical tensions. Despite higher funding needs for governments and firms, borrowing demand is expected to weaken.
