The Kota District Consumer Commission in Rajasthan has issued a notice to Gillette India and three of its officials, including the CEO, over allegations of charging four to six times more for women's razors compared to men's. The complaint, filed by senior journalist Dr. Kshipra Mathur, claims the razors serve the same purpose, differing only in color and marketing. The next hearing is scheduled for December 16, 2026, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
