Giant Planet Found Near Extremely Hot Star HD 156295

Scientists have discovered a potential giant planet in the habitable zone of the extremely hot A-type star HD 156295. Named HD 156295 B, this planet is about 140 light-years from Earth and has a mass roughly six times that of Jupiter. It orbits its star at approximately 4 astronomical units. The discovery is based on data from NASA's TESS telescope and pulsation timing techniques, though confirmation is still pending.
