Ghanaian Teen Javits Frimpong Shot Dead in Bronx; Father Alleges Bullying

Javits Frimpong, a 15-year-old Ghanaian teenager, was shot dead on October 29 while on his way to DreamYard preparatory school in the Bronx. His father alleged that Javits was bullied, with two students recently suspended for harassment. Javits was found with a gunshot wound to the stomach near Crotona Park and died at a hospital. NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani arranged a visa for Javits' mother to visit from Ghana.

FBI Blames North Korea for $6.3 Billion Binance Hack

The FBI has attributed the $6.3 billion cryptocurrency theft from Binance to North Korea's state-backed hacking group TraderTraitor. The attack, the largest crypto heist ever, occurred on Thursday and targeted the world's biggest crypto exchange. Binance replaced 90% of the stolen funds and will cover the rest.
