TechnologyGE Aerospace Ships Four More Engines for LCA Mk-1A to India
GE Aerospace has delivered four additional F404-IN20 engines to India for the LCA Mk-1A light combat aircraft built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. These engines add to the 10 previously supplied. The LCA Mk-1A is expected to enter Indian Air Force service by year-end, replacing retired MiG-21 jets. The IAF has ordered 180 Mk-1A fighters worth ₹1.1 lakh crore.
