FSSAI Suspends Seven Seas Hospitality Licence Over Hygiene Violations

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended Seven Seas Hospitality Pvt Ltd's licence due to serious hygiene and sanitation violations. An inspection revealed poor conditions including foul odour, filth, water stagnation, fungal growth on food items like tomatoes and cashew nuts, rotten vegetables, degraded cooking oils, pest infestations, and inadequate food storage and segregation. The company scored only 30% in compliance.
