HealthFSSAI Recalls Everest Cumin Powder Over Excess Pesticide Residues
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has recalled the Everest brand cumin powder due to excessive pesticide residues of Azoxystrobin and Thiamethoxam, exceeding legal limits. The contaminated batch, E080668761, was sampled from M/s Riverside Resorts & Holiday Homes Pvt. Ltd. in Goa. The recall follows lab tests and regulatory procedures under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
