FPIs Withdraw Record Rs 3 Lakh Crore from Indian Equities in 9 Months
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have pulled out a record Rs 3 lakh crore from Indian equities over the past nine months, marking the highest outflow in recent times. Despite selling Rs 3 lakh crore in the secondary market, FPIs invested Rs 55,000 crore in the primary market. Rising oil prices and yields are cited as reasons for this trend, with September seeing the highest outflows in six months.
