Four Food Outlets Closed, 13 FSSAI Licences Suspended in Nizamabad

The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs shut down four food establishments and suspended the FSSAI licences of 13 others in Nizamabad after inspections revealed multiple food safety violations. A total of 14 enforcement teams inspected 28 establishments, finding issues like unhygienic kitchens, pest infestations, spoiled food, expired products, and improper storage. Violations included use of newspapers on food and lack of protective gear for handlers.
