Four Arrested for Illegal SIM Box Network in Bengaluru

The Karnataka Cyber Command Unit arrested four individuals linked to an illegal SIM box network operating from two apartments in east Bengaluru's Whitefield. The network is suspected of involvement in digital arrest scams, sextortion, and financial cyberfrauds. Police recovered 10 SIM box devices with 320 SIM connections after a complaint from Bharti Airtel. The Cyber Crime Police Station registered a case on August 26, and a joint operation with the Department of Telecommunications led to the arrests and device seizures.
