Former Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen will visit the United States next week to participate in the Stanford DEFCON 2026 Technology & National Security Conference. This marks her first US trip since leaving office in 2024. Tsai will discuss Taiwan's democratic resilience and balancing technological development with national security. She was Taiwan's first female president and won a record 8.17 million votes in 2020.
