PoliticsFormer Judges Condemn Protests Against Election Commission
A group of 42 former Supreme Court and High Court judges wrote an open letter condemning protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The protests, led by Congress, opposition parties, and student groups, continue across major cities seeking rollback of SIR and repeal of the 2023 Election Commissioners Act.
