Florida Family Protects 498-Acre Ranch with $7.48M Easement
A 498-acre cattle ranch called Turnpike Dairy in Florida has been protected from future development through a $7.48 million conservation easement. The managing family can continue agricultural operations on the land. Martin County contributed $3.74 million to the deal, which is part of Florida’s Rural and Family Lands Protection Program aimed at preserving working farms.
