Nine districts including East and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Saran, and Vaishali face extensive damage with breached embankments and submerged residential areas. Around 150,000 people in 65 villages across 24 blocks are affected. In Patna, the Ganga river level at Gandhi Ghat is 17 cm above the danger mark, with further rise expected.
